Hello! I’m a Science Communication Intern at EarthScope Consortium and a Seismic Hazard Analyst at Lettis Consultants International. I recently graduated with my Masters in Geophysics from UC Santa Cruz, working with Emily Brodsky.

Research Interests

My research focuses on climate-solid Earth interactions across timescales & phenomena.

  • Internal Waves and Ocean-bottom Seismology: Characterizing ocean stratification with internal waves using seafloor pressure sensors
  • Surface Load Induced Earthquakes: Investigating surface load induced seismicity on a global scale using Bayesian statistics
  • Glacial Isostatic Adjustment (GIA) & Sea Level Modeling: GIA-induced stress changes on the Queen Charlotte Fault over the last deglaciation

About me

I earned my BSc. in Geophysics with a minor in Applied Math from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington. During my time there, I conducted research with Brad Lipovsky in the Environmental Geophysics and Computation research group. Our work focused on surface load induced seismicity (publication in review, 2025). During my undergraduate studies, I worked at the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network organizing earthquake outreach and hazard preparedness for local communities and congressional initiatives.

In 2022, I completed an internship on the Matanuska Glacier in Alaska. During this time, I worked as a glacier guide, leading multiple glacier hikes each day, performing site observations, and communicating geologic features and risks in field settings.

During my graduate studies, I worked in the UCSC Seismology Lab.
